ELECTRICITY
ELECTRICAL/ ELECTRICITY
What is ELECTRICITY
Electricity is the presence and flow of electric charge (electrons) in one direction that is a form of energy which is use to run machines and electrical devices/components . When electrical charges are not moving, electricity is called static electricity.
HOW ELECTRICITY WORKS IN GENERAL
In simple answer electricity is a steady flow of electrons. When electrons move from one place to another, around a circuit, they carry electrical energy from place to place. electrons carry a tiny amount of electric charge.
ELECTRICITY USE
Electricity Plays a very important role in our daily living, it is an essential part of modern living and important to this world also. we use electricity for lighting, heating, cooling, cooking, bathing and everything to run our appliances, computers, electronics, machinery, etc
ELECTRICITY HOW IT’S MADE OF
Electric is a form of energy. Electricity is the flow of electrons. All matter is made up of atoms, and an atom has a center, called a nucleus. The nucleus contains positive charged particles called protons and uncharged particles called neutrons.
ELECTRICITY PRODUCTION
Electricity is Generated in power plants using various types of energy. most electricity is created by burning fossil fuels (coal, natural gas, oil), Water hydro dam, and then converting the thermal energy into electricity. And to a power station and to our home, about 82% of our power comes from coal and water hydro dam(hydro project)
